Award-winning Hollywood actor Timothy Hutton's come back on ABC's anthology crime drama television series "American Crime" is unstoppable, as producer confirms his return on the third season of the notable show.

In a statement released by "American Crime" executive producer Michael McDonald, Hutton's character Russ Skokie will be having a mind blowing twisted comeback, as he will turn out as an affluent man trying to save his family and fortune, Ecumenical News reported. The producer added that he and series director John Ridley are looking forward to work again with the actor as they have so much faith in his acting capabilities.

"John and I are thrilled to have Tim return to season three. We believe that Tim's undeniable talent will be showcased in a role unlike anything we have ever seen from Tim," Variety quoted McDonald as saying.

First shown on the American televisions on March 2015, "American Crime" unfolds the story of various people whose lives have changed while facing subsequent legal trials. Hollywood biggest stars like Felicity Huffman, W. Earl Brown, and Richard Cabra are among the artists who join Hutton in the series.

During its first season, "American Crime" earned various nominations from prestigious award-giving bodies such as Emmy's, Golden Globe, and Satellite. In 2015, Huffman even won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or a Movie.

Meanwhile, Hutton began his career on the entertainment scene when he took minor roles in several television programs. In 1980, the actor became the youngest recipient of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor award.
