South Korean actress Choi Ji-woo will be one of the leading stars in MBC’s upcoming TV drama series "Woman Who Pulls a Career."

The 41-year-old actress will portray the character of the law office head Cha Keum Joo. The drama revolves on how Choi’s character surpassed all the trials that has come along her way, after she was involved in a conspiracy.

"'Woman Who Pulls a Career' is a legal or romance drama in which a charismatic woman finds romance and fulfills her dream. It's not a stiff courtroom drama but will instead be a story which contains stories about your average person in the legal field, the media, covers issues in the financial and entertainment worlds as well as in society,” All Kpop quoted an MBC representative as saying. The rep added that the show will depict a blend of love story with a legal setting and a woman who have come to survive the hardships of life and eventually reached her dream.

Joining Choi in the drama series, which is set to air in December, are actors Lee Joon and Joo Jin Mo, Soompi reported. Joo will be playing the character of press representative Ham Bok Geo while Lee was given the role of the lawyer Ma Suk Woo.

Choi started her career in the Korean entertainment industry in 1994 when she won in one of MBC’s talent audition. Her famous TV drama project includes “Winter Sonata,” “Beautiful Days,” “Stairway to Heaven” and “Temptation.”
