Nina Dobrev’s comeback on the upcoming “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 seemed uncertain, as she failed to make an appearance during the show’s cast dinner party.
In one of the photos posted by the show’s producer, Julie Plec, almost all of the cast members, as well as the production team, were present except Dobrev. Director Kevin Williamson and actors Michael Malarkey, Paul Wesley, and Dobrev's ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, who came along with his wife Nikki Reed, were the ones present in the photo, which has gained different reactions from the fans.
However, despite the claims of Dobrev not appearing in the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, assumptions that her absence is just a publicity stunt to entice the audience to watch her appearance in the show's upcoming season have risen, Master Herald reported.
Meanwhile, Dobrev’s casting in the show was earlier confirmed by Palec. She said that she already made an agreement with Dobrev regarding her comeback. Furthermore, the whole team of the “Vampire Diaries” is not closing doors to the actress if ever.
In other news, issues of Somerhalder’s wife being jealous to the ex-flame’s undeniable chemistry has also risen, Inquistr reported. However, an insider disregarded the rumor as he claimed that Somerhalder and Reed are “very much in love with each other."
Once labeled as "match made in heaven," Somerhalder and Dobrev started dating while they are filming the second season of "The Vampire Diaries." They broke up in 2013 without giving any explanations.
