"Grey's Anatomy" has a lot in store for Jackson and April in the back half of Season 13. A couple of fresh and exciting news for the former couple have been revealed this week just in time for the show's upcoming midseason premiere this month on ABC.

In a report from Entertainment Weekly, April's portrayer, Sarah Drew has revealed that fans will see another Jackson and April-centric episode on "Grey's Anatomy" season 13. The episode, which is being dubbed as the sequel to the Japril the Movie, is slated to air in March, the actress revealed. The special hour will serve as a follow-up to last season's Jackson & April standalone episode.

"There's going to be a Jackson and April episode, just the two of them," Drew told the publication.

"We're dealing with a case and it's just the two of us in Montana for the whole episode. I can tease that there's a real turning point that happens for the two of them. They're forced to be in the same space working together with no distraction outside of the norm, outside of anybody that they know, outside of any of the history. They're going through something pretty big. They don't start off in the best place when we find them on the journey."

Drew further shared that fans of "Grey's Anatomy" will finally meet Jackson's father this season. However, details on his character description are still under wraps. There's also no word yet as to which actor will play the part.

When "Grey's Anatomy" returns with an all new episode titled "You Can Look (But You'd Better Not Touch)," an emergency case will take Arizona, Bailey and Jo to a maximum security women's prison where they will treat a violent, teenage pregnant girl and her unborn baby.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 returns on Thursday, Jan. 26 on ABC.
