"Legends of Tomorrow" actor Victor Garber has booked a guest starring role on "Modern Family" Season 8.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Garber will play Chef Dumont, a celebrity chef in an upcoming February episode of the Emmy winning sitcom. In the episode, viewers will find Claire obsessed with Garber's character and his cooking show. To this end, she invites her daughter Haley to attend one his classes.

Garber, who currently stars on "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow" as Dr. Martin Stein, is also known for his work on "The Alias," "Power," "Motive," "Web Therapy" and "Sleepy Hollow." On the film side, his credits include "Argo" and "Titanic."

Garber joins recently cast Peyton Manning on the said episode.

The retired NFL quarterback will play a role in Gloria's storyline where his character, Coach Gary is hired by Gloria to teach baby Joe how to throw and catch a ball. However, things get complicated when he begins to help around the house, making Jay feel threatened and emasculated.

An all new episode of "Modern Family" titled "Sarge & Pea" will air this week (Jan. 11) where viewers will find Cam going on a blind date to discover the truth. As per the official synopsis, "Cam is incensed that an anonymous and rude parent robbed him of a precious Lily moment during her recent dance recital. While he and Hayley visit Alex at her coffee shop the next day, he thinks he recognizes the culprit and goes to extremes to uncover her identity, and give her a peace of his mind."

"Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neil, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Aubrey Andreson-Emmons and Jeremy Maguire.

The hit comedy series hails from co-creators Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd. It has won multiple Emmy awards over the course of its eight-season run on ABC for Best Comedy.
