The county will also receive the same amounts of donations from Academy of Country Music, as aid to the victims. The Sevier County, Tennessee wildfires have led to 14 deaths and many other injured victims. According to Real country 103.5 kysm, Kenny Chesney and the CMA will both contribute $250,000 each which makes the total donation of $500,000 for the cause.
A portion of the donation made by Taylor swift will be transferred into Dolly Parton's My People Fund. The fund is providing $1000 every month, for the next six months, to the victims who lost their residence in the fire. According to the scenario, it is appropriate to say that Taylor took the initiative to help her country people, who had given their full support, at the beginning of her career. The donations will not be wasted and the star has effectively played her part to help the people and use her stand to raise awareness about the difficulties of the people.
The disaster struck in Tennessee on November 28th and has burnt down buildings and communities and left many people suffering after losing their loved ones. More than 2400 building were destroyed and total repair cost could be approximated to $500 million.
