It has already been about two months since the famous DJ Calvin Harris broke up with his singer girlfriend Taylor Swift. However, he still seems to be trying to mend his heart's wound indicating clearly that he is still not over her yet.
The things became more clear when Harris, who was invited and celebrated at Caesars Palace's 50th Anniversary Gala, became erratic when the show's host tried to pun about his relationship with Swift. The show's host Howie Mandel tried to make an awkward gag on Harris while representing him at the Caesars Palace Icon award.
Mandel tried to unleash his funny side by making a statement over Harris and praising about his suit. At the same time, he became totally sarcastic and asked about his "taylor."
Harris did not seem to like this coming from show's host Mandel. In addition, he did not take it in good spirits or even least sportingly. Instead he replied by saying that it was a nice one. He further added that he guessed that Howie had got the joke prepared in advance, reported The Sun.
Insiders revealed that Swift's ex-boyfriend clearly indicated that how shell shocked he was by such dissing comment. Harris reportedly could not find it even the least funny.
After this comment exchange, Harris, who was already quite upset by such surprising and uninvited comment, pulled himself together in front of the crowd and tried to act as normal as possible. According to a guest who was present at the occasion, Harris was not at all impressed with such kind of rude joke about his relationship.
Other onlookers and attendees confirmed that the joke appeared to be sarcastic and a dissing comment indeed, which was completely unwanted. According to News Corp, the incident straight away indicates that Harris is not in a good place after his split from the Grammy Award winning singer Swift and that explains his inability to see the funny side of the remark made by Mandel.
Post-split from singer girlfriend, Harris has maintained his bachelorhood. He was reportedly linked with R&B star Tinashe. However, Tinashe later confirmed that she is still single.
