Talk about an awkward night! Taylor Swift couldn't stop making headlines as she runs in with known rival Katy Perry and ex-bf John Mayer at Drake's birthday party.

Today is the day Taylor Swift celebrates her 10th year in the music industry and surprise surprise! The singer was photographed partying with Katy Perry and John Mayer.

Although the three headline grabbers didn't actually brush shoulders, they were all in attendance to Drake's 30th birthday celebration in L.A. and even took pictures with the same people, the Daily Mail UK reported.

The reason for the awkwardness could be attributed to the fact that Taylor and Mayer were once lovers and when they broke up, the former Country singer wrote a song "Dear John" to diss him.

Perry and Swift's alleged conflict on the other hand began when the latter detailed in a magazine interview back in 2013 that she's not really fond of a certain singer saying that there was a fiasco involving her dancers.

Fans speculated that Swift was referring to Perry who had dancers who quit working for Swift and worked for her instead, to which Perry responded with an epic Tweet the whole world has known saying "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing."

Since then, Perry has been vocal about her feelings for Swift. Just last year when Taylor was in feud with Nicki Minaj over the latter getting her video snubbed at the VMA's, Katy Perry tweeted "Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman..."

Perry was talking about the Bad Blood video of course, which was rumored to be a song about her.

But whether or not Swift has been successfully campaigning with The Squad, a group of skinny females who can easily be translated as the alpha women of the society, she can't beat Katy Perry's with the latter campaigning for the first female president of the United States, The Daily Beast reported.

Katy Perry's political efforts give her a right to party with Hilary Clinton if she wins the election come November 8. No other woman or girl group in the country can beat that.
