"Pokémon GO" drives people crazy around the world. The viral augmented reality game becomes more phenomenal with the launch of Pokémon GO Plus and is now available for pre-order to ship on September 16.

Initially, pre-orders of the wearable device started when the official price was announced in June at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 with July shipping. The device immediately sold out like hot pancakes that made people sell their 'guaranteed delivery Pokémon GO Plus' nearly ten-fold compared to the price they paid on Ebay auction sites.

Forbes reported that Pokémon GO Plus sells for $34.99 and will add more excitement to the game as it notifies players of nearby Pokémon characters. The device will vibrate and then flashes once it detects a Pokémon signaling the player to throw a virtual Pokéball l in an effort to catch them all.

"As you pass by a PokéStop, you'll even be able to collect new items just by clicking the Pokémon GO Plus," explains game-maker Niantic. "If there's nearby Pokémon hiding in your area you'll be alerted with lights and vibrations; catch the Pokémon with a button on Pokémon GO Plus and then continue on your way (later, you can check your Journal to see which Pokémon you've just caught)."

Pokémon GO Plus works through Bluetooth Smart which is a low energy link structured for health and fitness apps. It can be wrapped around the wrist or used as a pin. Players can collect Pokémon characters using the device even without using the app on their smartphones, according to Times.

If buying a Pokémon GO Plus, make certain to update the smartphone. Nintendo said that the app needs to be updated once used with the Pokémon GO Plus device. The wearable device is compatible with iOS 8 - 9 which is compatible with iPhone 5, 5c, 5S, SE, 6, 6S, 6 Plus, and 6S Plus. It will also work with Android 4.4 - 6.0 which is compatible with Android 4.4 or higher that have Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth v4.0 or higher) capability and RAM 2GB or more.
