Nintendo NX is slated to launch on 2017 but still little is known about the new console. Gamers are expecting more details from the company once NX is revealed this coming September.

Nintendo is making a lot of careful preparation before the release of its newest console next year. The console maker does not want to commit the same mistakes again from its Wii U. The unit has a hard time with the description and the name itself is illogical. Moreover, it did not suggest that it is a new console and not an upgrade.

Compared to Wii U, Wii is simple to use yet innovative. It can be swung like a bat to play virtual baseball or a club to play virtual golf. Best of all, it has sold 100 million units.

When Wii U was unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, console's box unit was not shown making gamers believed that it is just a new tangential. It was also difficult to clarify how the gamepad for asymmetric and two-screen play will work. These are some of the pitfalls which NX needs to leapfrog and that's exactly what Nintendo is going to do, according to Forbes.

NX is something that gamers need to watch out for because of the rumored specifications and functionality. Beginning with the controllers that are anticipated to be detachable, is also reported to have the capability of being linked to a larger screen. The controllers will be installed on either side for portable playing. Additionally, it rumored that the system's launch library might include Mario and Pokemon games during the first and second quarter along with "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," Polygon reported.

"We have to do a better job from a software planning standpoint to have that continuous beat of great new games that are motivating more and more people to pick up the hardware and more and more people to pick up the software," Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America said.

More updates regarding the Nintendo's NX is the confirmation that the console will be guttering optical media and will go back to the traditional use of cartridges due to its high capacity and lower cost of flash storage.

Furthermore, there are rumors that the new console could enable users to make video calls aside from surfing the web. Achievements or online leaderboard will be supported by the system is made possible with the company's collaboration with DeNa.

Third parties including Square Enix, Warner Bros, Sega, and Ubisoft will be providing more games for the NX. Square Enix is anticipated to launch its Dragon Quest game on the new console while Bandai Namco will launch a new game entitled "Super Smash Bros".

These rumors and updates will be confirmed on Nintendo's NX official unveiling this September.
