Filipino actor John Arcilla is nominated for Best Actor at the Asian Film Awards 2016 for his portrayal of the title role in the historical biopic “Heneral Luna.” His fellow nominees for the category are Hollywood actors Donnie Yen and Lee Byung-yun for their roles in “Ip Man 3” and “Inside Men,” respectively.
The last South Korean drama series Song Hye-kyo starred in was the 2013 SBS drama series “That Winter, the Wind Blows.” After three years, she is back on the small screen playing the female lead role in the upcoming KBS2 drama series “Descendants of the Sun.”
