The interactive game "Batman: Return to Arkham" should have been released on July 26 but was postponed to give its developer, Virtuous Games enough time to iron any flaws in the game. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the most awaited game will be released on October 18 and is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Previous reports suggested that "Batman: Return to Arkham" involves Rocksteady's remastered versions of "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City". All post-release DLC launched for the said games will be enclosed in the package.

Together with the revelation of the new launch date, Warner Bros. also created a video that demonstrates Arkham games' original versions beside the remastered versions. The Asylum and City's new versions run on Unreal Engine 4 whereas the originals were created using Unreal Engine 3, as reported by GameSpot.

According to GameSpot's Arkham Asylum review, "everything about this game--the impressive visuals, stirring soundtrack, superb voice acting, fiendish puzzles, hard-hitting combat--feels like it has been lovingly crafted by a development team that's both knowledgeable and passionate about the source material."

The recently unveiled "Official Batman: Return to Arkham Side-by-Side" trailer features the game's enhanced graphics, upgraded models, surroundings, effects, shaders, and lightings.

It all started in "Batman: Arkham Asylum" which was initially developed by Rocksteady Studios and was launched in 2009. The player acts as the Cape Crusader and was made to discover a different, dark, and atmospheric voyage leading to Arkham Asylum's secret places. Showcasing with an original story, gamers will progress into the shadow and put dread in their enemies. Gamers will come face to face with Gotham's villainous characters with The Joker topping the list. Other antagonists include Bane, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow to name a few, the Gaming Respawn reported.

"Batman: Arkham City" is a continuation to "Batman: Arkham Asylum". The game will be released on October 21 in the UK.
