"Thor: Ragnarok" is rumored to bring a major shift to its storyline this coming 2017. While not much details have been confirmed yet, here are five of the most anticipated changes that fans should expect to see in the upcoming film.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will have Taika Waititi as its director. Waititi is a New Zealand film director, writer and actor known for "Eagle vs Shark" in 2007, "Boy" in 2010, "Green Lantern" in 2011, "What We Do In the Shadows" in 2014 and "Hunt for the Wilder People" in 2016. With his past works on comedic films, "Thor: Ragnarok" is expected to have an element of comedy as well.

The Hulk will be back. Bruce Banner is reportedly a huge asset in "Thor: Ragnarok" when it comes to war. Additionally, with Waititi directing, fans may see a more humorous and fun side of the quiet character of Banner.

More MCU characters will join the casting. "Thor: Ragnarok" is expected to cast Karl Urban from "Star Trek" movies, "Dredd" and "The Bourne Supremacy" as the Executioner and Jeff Goldblum from "Jurassic Park," "The Fly" and "Independence Day," as the Grandmaster, Stopru reported.

Two new actresses have also been revealed to join the"Thor: Ragnarok" film. Tessa Thompson from "Selma," "Dear White People" and "Creed" as Valkyrie and Cate Blanchett from "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "Lord of the Rings" and "Carol" as Hela, Screen Geek reported.

The "Thor: Ragnarok" film's release date is set on Nov. 3 2017. "Thor: Ragnarok" may seem to be too far away but given the huge number of new casts and a great director, it should be worth the wait.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is believed to be the end of Marvel's Thor franchise. Ragnarok basically means the end of the world according to Norse mythology.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is suggested to see a life threatening situation once again which may seem to be the end of the film franchise as well. Watch "Thor Ragnarok" trailer here.
