With Apple's traditional launch month of September drawing near, rumors, speculations and leaked images as well as videos take their peak. Two new leaked videos have surfaced, speculating on the possible features of the upcoming successor of iPhone 6 series.

One of the clips, which was reported by Tech Radar, show not one, but three iPhone mockups. It is said that this video came from a Japanese store that pre-sells iPhone models, and adds to the speculations that Apple will once again release three separate models of a single series, as opposed to the usual two models.

The video, which comes from a Japanese store that specializes in pre-selling new iPhone models, suggest that there could be an iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro to be released as successors to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 SE and iPhone 6 SE Plus.

The other clip revealed a pair of Lightning-compatible EarPods supposedly for the iPhone 7, Slash Gear reported.

There have been rumors that the iPhone 7 will remove the 3.5mm headphone jack completely from its new models, and replace traditional headphones with units that can be connected through the Apple Lightning port, which is traditionally used for charging in previous iPhone models.

It is speculated that the decision to remove the headphone jack could be intended to provide for a larger speaker, or a battery with a bigger capacity for the iPhone 7.

According to Slash Gear, the video demonstrated a fully functional pair of headphones and even gave viewers a sneak peek into the sound quality of the phones when placed close to the camera.

In other news, French website Nowhereelse.fr has leaked a set of photos allegedly revealing more features of the iPhone 7.

The article stated that the images show, among others, a larger camera hump compared with older iPhone models. The article speculated that it could mean a better sensor for the new camera on the iPhone 7.

The images also show a lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to Nowhereelse.fr, the images came from Geekbar, whose team specializes in repairing electronic gadgets.

Apple is set to officially reveal new products in September.
