Apple may be hitting not only two, but three birds with one stone this September 2016, as they release the iPad Mini 5, the iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro 2016.

According to The Bitbag, Apple may be in the middle of engineering the latest iPad Mini 5. Latest reports also suggest that the said Apple gadget will be released in three color variants, and will also be available in different built-in storage capacity.

The iPad Mini 5 will be ran by the latest A9 processor with an improved display, a 1.2 megapixel front camera and an 8 megapixel rear shooter. In addition, the upcoming iPad Mini 5 will also come out in a sleeker, thinner physique than its predecessor iPad Mini 4.

According to Christian Today, the iPad Mini 5 will only be 5mm thin, thus, it will be 1.1mm thinner than its predecessor. This puts the gadget in good competition with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, its strongest competition in the technology market to date.

Additionally, the next generation iPad Mini will not only be waterproof and dust resistant, but will also have a 7000 aluminum chassis. To accompany the impending release, Apple will put a halt to selling the 16GB model of the iPad Mini, thus, the new iPad Mini 5 will only be available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants, with their cost ranging from $450 to $600.

Furthermore, the newest iPad Mini will have a more efficient and powerful battery system, which would be better than the 5,124mAh of the iPad Mini 4. This will be accompanied by a stellar pressure sensitive 3D touch screen and a new Lightning Port that will replace the 3.5mm audio earphone jack.

Lastly, the iPad Mini 5 will also have a touch sensitive home button, which will similarly feature on the upcoming iPhone 7. The removal of 3.55 audio earphone jack could also mean that iPad Mini users would have to buy the new Apple Earpods, which will reportedly cost at $29.
