Marvel's #itsallconnected battlecry for its cinematic universe rings true with planned crossovers between Netflix hit "Jessica Jones" and upcoming series "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage."

Netflix confirms that Simone Missick's Misty Knight, a character set to appear in "Luke Cage," will also crossover to "Iron Fist," The Hollywood Reporter reported. She will be the third character from Marvel properties who is confirmed to make the transition on Netflix shows.

Explaining the casting choice for the role, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb said, "Simone just knocked it so far out of the park that we're still trying to find the baseball. It's somewhere out there traversing the globe. So it's really great. And I can tell you that what she's doing on Iron Fist, it's just incredible. The fans are really going to love it."

On the other hand, David Tenant's Killgrave in "Jessica Jones" had been spotted on the set of "Luke Cage," Latino Review reported. Killgrave is presumably killed in the last episode of "Jessica Jones" but Netflix has yet to issue an official statement.

Killgrave was originally a villain in the "Daredevil" comics and given the connectivity of these shows in MCU, viewers think that a crossover is not at all farfetched.

Other MCU characters who managed to break between Netflix shows were Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple who appeared in "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones" and Carrie-Anne Moss' Jeri Hogarth who also played a key role on both shows.

"Jessica Jones," "Luke Cage," "Iron Fist" and "Daredevil" will make up the upcoming Avengers style series of Netflix with "The Defenders." All the major characters serve as protectors of their neighborhoods in New York City.

"Daredevil" Season 1 & 2 and "Jessica Jones" Season 1 are now available for streaming on Netflix. Upcoming shows "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist are set to arrive on September 30, 2016 and 2017 respectively.
