Marvel and ABC will continue their tandem to bring more television shows, says network president Channing Dungey at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour.

Despite the recent decision to shelve "Marvel's Agent Carter" and "Marvel's Most Wanted," Dungey made it clear that the network still plans to carry out Marvel projects moving forward, IGN reported. At the TCA, Dungey revealed, "Since I've been in this role we've been in a number of really terrific conversations with the Marvel team."

So far, streaming service giant Netflix spruced up its Marvel properties offering with the impending release of "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" series, along with the anticipated "Defenders" assembly.

With a plethora of characters that could be pulled out of the Marvel comics, Dungey teased that, "We're looking at a number of different things. Some of them are projects that we were working on before and some of them are totally new ideas and IP."

Following the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Marvel had been reportedly in talks with ABC to develop a half-hour live-action comedy titled, "Damage Control," Deadline reported. As of now, there are currently no news as to its stage of development.

Currently, the only Marvel property airing at ABC is its pioneer TV series, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." On the other hand, its supposed spin-off, "Marvel's Most Wanted" failed to materialize because the management thought the pilot was "not as strong as the other pilots" that they've shot for other shows.

"We talked about it with Marvel and we all came to an agreement that we wanted to figure out what the next show that we do together [is] and we all feel is as creatively strong as it can be," Dungey said.

Meanwhile, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" is set to be back from hiatus with new cast members. The trailer for its Season 4 teases the introduction of Robbie Reyes a.k.a Ghost Rider to be played by actor Gabriel Luna and a new director to be played by Jason O'Mara.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" Season 4 premieres on Sept. 20 on ABC.
