After captivating the hearts of Chinese viewers, making it the most popular drama series according to Chinese website Baidu, "Far Away Love" is now starting to be popular among Korean and international audience.
For all the followers of Park Hae Jin who has yet to watch this funny drama, Soompi has listed these five things you need to know about Park's "Far Away Love": complicated yet imaginative plot, line-up of popular faces, chemistry between main characters, comical scenes, and Park's role as Shen An.
Park shared the screen with Chinese actress Li Fei Er who played as Meng Chu Xia, a 28-year-old single woman who's looking after the son of her sister. While Shen An is a businessman who came back to China to put up a new firm.
Park and Li have been receiving praises for their chemistry onscreen. Aside from that, they are joined by actor Zhang Lun Shuo and actress Song Yi who made "Far Away Love" more interesting.
According to Yonhap, the filming of "Far Away Love" concluded in 2013; however, it took them more than a couple of years before they can premiere due to China's strict censorship policies.
"Far Away Love" started airing on March 1 on Southeast TV and Guangdong TV in China. The C-drama won the hearts of its Chinese viewers and is expected to make Koreans fall for Park's charm.
Further reports revealed that "Far Away Love" is not Park's first Chinese drama. The Hallyu actor previously starred in Chinese dramas "Qian Duo Duo Gets Married," "Love's Relativity" and "Another Brilliant Life."
Park is best known for his roles in "My Love From The Stars, "Bad Guys" and his recent project "Cheese In The Trap."
