Stephen Amell, a.k.a Oliver Queen, confirms that the Flashpoint storyline in "The Flash" Season 3 will have a major impact in the upcoming "Arrow" Season 5.
The People's Choice Awards recently tweeted an interview with Amell during the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey, where the actor responded with "You Bet!" when asked if Flashpoints storyline could affect the show in a major way.

The final episode of "The Flash" Season 2 left off with Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin, feeling depressed over the death of his father who was murdered by Zoom. He decides to travel back to the night when his mother was killed by the Reverse-Flash. In his third temporal journey, he kills Thawne and saves his mother. Following Geoff Johns DC miniseries "Flashpoint," Barry's action will re-write the entire DC universe.
This goes to follow that "Arrow" will be affected. According to Screen Rant, it is still unclear as to how the flashpoint will affect the show, but it opens a lot of possibilities for deceased characters to come back to life, hinting a possible return of Laurel Lance, a.k.a The Black Canary.
The flashpoint could also tip-off for a possible reset in "Arrow's" story arc. According to Tech Times, it could actually be the show's saving grace, considering the troubling reviews it has received from the previous season. It could give the show a chance to redeem itself.
Meanwhile, "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow" will also be affected in some way since their universes are also interlaced. It is also said that the flashpoint was one way of bringing Kara and Barry together in a single timeline, and in a way that makes more sense.
"The Flash" Season 3 is set to premiere in Oct. 4, followed by "Arrow" Season 5 in Oct. 5, "Supergirl" Season 2 in Oct. 10 and "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 in Oct. 13 on CW.
