Since it is already confirmed that "Narcos" Season 2 will feature the death of its lead character, Pablo Escobar, recent reports are loud that Pablo tried to escape from the authorities before he was gunned down.

It was just recently when Netflix released a trailer of the anticipated "Narcos" Season 2; however, the trailer did not reveal much, except for the announcement that the series will be back on Sept. 2. Despite of that, it was formerly revealed by the executive producer of the series Eric Newman that the upcoming season will definitely showcase the death of Pablo, played by Wagner Moura.

According to Christian Daily, there are rumors that aside from Pablo's death, a different plot will also be shown in "Narcos" Season 2. However, this information still needs verification as no one from the camp of the show confirmed this speculation.

The same publication also cited the spoiler that Moura gave during an interview. The actor revealed that "Narcos" Season 2 will start from his character's escape to its death. The actor added that Season 2 will show how Pablo ran from the authorities. With that said, fans are speculating that "Narcos" Season 2 is going to be filmed in various places, considering that Pablo may have traveled from different locations in order to get away from the authorities.

It can be remembered that the first season of "Narcos" centered on how Pablo managed to become one of Colombia's biggest drug personality. The first season was a major hit and received numerous nominations from award-winning bodies including the Writers Guild of America Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and  Satellite Awards.

On the other hand, according to BBC News, the hippos of Pablo Escobar have become a dilemma to the people living in Antioquia, Colombia. The report noted that a few hippos and other exotic animals were smuggled by Pablo from Africa to his Hacienda Napoles during the 80s. After the death of the drug lord, the authorities took over the place, and transferred the animals on various zoos.

However, the hippos were not included, and have remained in the lake near the area. Since then, they have multiplied, and are now causing a problem to the people living near the area.
