The "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" trailer may come in April. Lucasfilm and Disney may release footage during and not going into the Star Wars event in Orlando.

Several sources claimed the first "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" trailer will debut at the Star Wars Celebration Orlando. Footage from the film, perhaps more behind-the-scenes videos, will reportedly be screened during the event, which is scheduled to happen from April 13-16.

A source told StarWarsNews.net that a new behind-the-scenes footage for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will debut at the Star Wars fan event. This is different from the production video the team released back in February. The insider claimed Lucasfilm has been hard at work on the reel, so they can unveil it at the Star Wars Celebration.

Meanwhile, as for the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" trailer, it is likely that the video also comes at the Star Wars Celebration Orlando. Lucasfilm has reportedly already worked on a teaser since November. This means, fans should not expect to see any teasers come out ahead or going into the event.

This is supposedly how Lucasfilm released its preview for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." A new trailer and a behind-the-scenes footage were unveiled during the Star Wars event. The only difference is the team also released a trailer ahead of the Star Wars fan event.

Likewise, the source contradicted speculations that point to a release of the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" trailer at the Super Bowl. Pablo Hidalgo, a member of the Lucasfilm Story Group, has also already confirmed there will be no footage released at the football event. According to Cinema Blend, this a good decision for the team, since they can capitalize on the trailer if they release it some other time.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" opens in US theaters on Dec. 15, 2017. The film stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill and Adam Driver, to name a few.
