"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" star William Levy discussed the stunt work that he had to do with his character.

In an interview, Levy spoke about what it is like joining the franchise for its last installment. He also went to discuss how he prepared for the role. He said that he had seen all five movies of the franchise prior to joining the crew, Screen Rant reported.

"I saw the movies, the five movies, before. I played the game before. So I knew what it was like to be part of this-I mean, I didn't know what it was like to be part of it, but I knew what I was getting myself into. And I gotta tell you man, it has been a great experience. I had a good time," he said.

He went to say that this is the first time that he will be playing with action and fantasy set pieces such as zombies. Levy went to praise their set and said that it helped him get on his character easier because it looked like the real thing.

Although he makes it sound like less of a work, he did say that there was one scene that had to shot for three straight nights. Given the heavy CGI involved in the film, he said that one scene had him running for what felt like an eternity.

In one sequence with co-star Milla Jovovich, he said he heard dislocated a bone on his finger that he had to pull back in place. He said that maybe the cold weather made him numb to the pain of dislocating his finger but all things considered, it's still a small price to pay for a great experience.

Meanwhile, "Resident Evil: The Last Chapter" is currently tearing it up in the box office. The franchise which started in 2002 is now poised to take over $1 billion of earnings, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

If it reaches that point, the film will be the biggest-selling video game film adaptation in history.
