According to Mirror, the mother of the super famous Alana (Honey BooBoo) has gone through a major weight loss session which will definitely stun the viewers. The new reality TV show exhibits the journey of the confusingly adorable Mama June Shannon to achieve a lighter self.
The show that tracks the weight loss journey and will see June in a new light is called "Mama June: From Not to Hot" and it will air on television from next month. The promo of the show that has been recently released depicts June saying that when the surgery is over she will not be able to recognize herself in the mirror. Maybe it is something that June would like but her daughters think otherwise. The entertainer once weighed 400 lbs and lost 150 lbs after a tummy tuck.
The transformation that will take place after her surgery will change her appearance and open a wide door of opportunities for her. CinemaBlend explains that June's family will also be shown in the new show and that Alana and Lauryn (June's daughters) will constantly root Mama June to stand firm, when she struggles with confidence and avoid her from giving in to the temptation of going back to her old dietary habits.
Mama June's family consists of her daughters; Alana (Honey BooBoo) Lauryn, Jessica and Anna who gave birth to a daughter, Kaitlyn Shannon. The father "Sugar Bear" has moved on from the family and is soon to wed another woman, which is partly a reason that initiated the weight loss surgery.
