Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will appear as a guest on the opening episode of Salman Khan-hosted controversial celebrity reality show "Bigg Boss 10."
Padukone will be seen promoting her first Hollywood movie "XxX: The Return of Xander Cage," Times of India newspaper reported. The Vin Diesel action drama is slated to hit theaters in January next year. Apart from Diesel and Padukone, the movie also stars Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Samuel L Jackson, Tony Jaa, and Donnie Yen in key roles.
The tenth season of controversial Indian celebrity show "Bigg Boss" is all set to hit small screens on October 16, Indian Express reported. Khan has been hosting the show from its fourth season and made it massively popular among Indian youth.
Padukone, who is currently busy shooting for "XxX: Return of Xander Cage," will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious epic romance drama "Padmavati" opposite her rumored boyfriend Ranveer Singh. She is also being considered to play lead role in director Sunder C's Tamil flick "Sanghamitra," which is touted as India's most expensive movie ever.
The 29-year-old Indian actress, who made her Bollywood debut with 2007 hit movie "Om Shanti Om" opposite superstar Shahrukh Khan, has recently become highest paid actress in Mumbai film industry, surpassing big names like Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Katrina Kaif. Padukone also got place in Forbes' 2016 list of top 10 highest paid actresses in the world. Last week, the "Piku" actress surpassed Indonesian celebrity Agnez Mo as the most popular Asian woman on Twitter with more than 16 million followers.
