Speculations are rife that Sasha dies in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, following the casting of actress Sonequa Martin-Green in "Star Trek: Discovery." Green declined to comment whether her character dies or lives in the series, but assured fans not to worry.
Green recently addressed fans' worry about her character in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Fans worry that Sasha dies next in the AMC series, following news that she has landed the lead role in "Star Trek: Discovery." According to Entertainment Weekly, she plays the lieutenant commander of the Discovery.
Green did not give an outright answer, When asked to clarify speculations about Sasha's death. Instead, she teased that anything is possible for her character. She could die or live in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. However, the actress may have hinted to Sasha's death also, when she mentioned that the show will continue to impact viewers in a powerful way.
"I can say that the story is as impactful and powerful and dynamic as it always has been, and there's nothing to worry about where that's concerned," Green told the publication
Series creator Scott M. Gimple previously also addressed Green's appearance in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. He seemed confident that Green can juggle her work schedule between "Star Trek: Discovery" and his show. The showrunner also hinted that Sasha lives since she is a strong character in the series. It would not be that easy to kill her off.
However, there are still speculations that Sasha could be a goner soon in the instalment. After all, her character does not exist in the comics. So far, the series has killed off most of its characters that are not from the original canon. Likewise, fans claim that Sasha resembles Holly in the comics, who sacrificed herself to let the survivors escape.
Regardless, fans would have to find out if Sasha lives or dies in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Filming for the season is over and production on "Star Trek: Discovery" is reportedly ongoing. This means Green can definitely do both shows.
