"Waking Dead" is about to have a new leader when it returns on Feb. 12 to continue with season 7. This character is not who everyone would expect.

In an article published by Comic Book, Tamara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) will have her moment of leadership in the show. She will be delivering a speech that is so moving and emotionally charged during a difficult and stressful moment for everyone. It is also when everyone's lives are at risk that she did this seemingly heroic and leadership speech.

That scene was not easy even for Masterson herself, as she had some difficulties delivering it. Good thing Andrew Lincoln was there to reassure her that she was doing a great job and she is nailing the role.

Meanwhile, the show did get a lot of complaints from viewers about the amount of violence they have shown the last time. In result, it would appear that the latest episodes will be toned down when it comes to the gore and violence involved.

According to Entertainment Weekly, some of the producers of the show admitted that they did respond to the backlash of their viewers and have managed to fix that issue. Which is why this time, fans will see a more tamed and toned down scenes compared to the last one, especially the part where characters were beaten up using a baseball bat covered with barbed wired.

On the other hand, there are also reports saying that producers are denying their changes to lessen the violence in the show. Scott M. Gimple, one of the executive producers of "The Walking Dead," said that those violent scenes were placed for a reason.

They didn't just show it for the sake of showing it but it is all because of the zombies being more dramatic than their usual state. Nevertheless, he was trying to point out that there is nothing wrong with it since it is crucial to complete the storyline. Catch the all new episode of the season 7 of "The Walking Dead" on Feb. 12 via AMC.
