Showrunner Jason Rothenberg revealed how Lexa's influence on Clarke manifests in "The 100" Season 4. He also said that Clarke will never forget Lexa, although she will try move on with her life.

Rothenberg addressed questions about Clarke's life in "The 100" Season 4 following Lexa's death. The series creator confirmed that even though Lexa is dead, her influence on the Commander of the Grounders remains.

Lexa helped Clarke (Eliza Taylor) open her eyes to her surroundings. She made her see the world differently, according to Rothenberg. Clarke also did the same for Lexa, in the course of their relationship.

"The fact that Clarke is trying to transcend her tribalism is really a direct result of her relationship with Lexa," Rothenberg told Entertainment Weekly.

In the same interview, the showrunner addressed the never-ending question whether Clarke will finally get over Lexa's death. The showrunner added that Clarke will try to move on with her life. However, this does not mean that she will forget Lexa.

Rothenberg assured that Clarke eventually moves on from Lexa. However, he did not confirm if this happens in "The 100" Season 4 or in future seasons. He also did not mention whom Clarke forms a relationship with next.

Meanwhile, Eliza Taylor previously also hinted that Clarke moves on from Lexa but it may take some time. After all, Lexa was the love of her life. Taylor said that it would not be easy for Clarke to find someone new easily after losing Lexa.

"When someone you love passes away, it takes years for you to feel like yourself again," Taylor told TV Line.

Regardless, Clarke has far more important things to worry about than falling in love. She has to make saving the people her priority in "The 100" Season 4. ALIE had warned her about the impending nuclear apocalypse and she needs to make her people safe before this happens.
