The new DC Comics characters Wild Dog, Artemis, and Mr. Terrific reveal in the "Arrow" Season 5 trailer. Oliver Queen or Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) will be training these new Team Arrow made of young or inexperienced protégés.

The original Team Arrow is no more. According to Comicbook, Queen has three new recruits this coming "Arrow" Season 5: Wild Dog, Artemis, and Curtis Holt's alter-ego Mr. Terrific. There are images surfaced online showing Wild Dog and Mr. Terrific look pretty close to their comic book counterparts. On the other hand, Artemis looks to be in a somewhat downgraded costume. She wore a hooded shirt, leather jacket, and a questionable looking mask.

Rick Gonzales plays Wild Dog aka Jack Wheeler in the "Arrow" Season 5, as iDigital Times reported. He took on his alter ego when his girlfriend got shot dead. His character is an auto mechanic by day and vigilante by night. He is not afraid to kill his enemies and use his military expertise to fight crime.

In the "Arrow" Season 5 trailer, Madison McLaughlin plays Artemis. She will follow the Black Canary's footsteps. She sought vengeance on Damien Darhk and Arrow for the death of her parents in season 4. She was reminded by Ollie of the Black Canary's heroic deeds.

The last by not the least in the new Arrow team for "Arrow" Season 5, Echo Kellum plays Mr. Terrific. He was at first going to be the team's new mechanical engineer. However, he is going to spend some time on the salmon ladder since he wants to be a vigilante and start fighting crime.

"Arrow" Season 5 has the dual challenge of trying to return the series to the more grounded premise of Green Arrow as a street-level vigilante. It returns to The CW on Oct. 5 Wednesday 8/7c.
