"Minecraft" is coming its way to Nintendo Switch after it has been released for Wii U Edition. Both Nintendo and Mojang are delivering its next version which is the Minecraft: Switch Edition for the Nintendo Switch console.

In the course of Nintendo's exhibit event on January 12, it was announced that a new edition of "Minecraft" will come on the new console.  However, no information or date of release has been disclosed.

It is basically characterized as: "Create your very own game world to explore, build and conquer. When night falls the monsters appear, so ensure you've made yourself a shelter before they arrive. Make it through the night and the world is only limited by your imagination you choose what you want to make or what to do."

According to IGN, Nintendo Switch continues Minecraft's relative universality on gaming consoles, following versions for Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, PS4, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and a lot more. As of last year, Minecraft has exceeded 106 million of copies sold, making it as one of the best-selling games of all time.

Although the "Minecraft" developer Mojang was acquired by Microsoft in 2014 for $2.5 billion, but as last night's announcement shows, it didn't hinder the franchise from materializing on multiple platforms. Last year, the game received a major revision on Windows 10 and mobile.

Meanwhile, Nintendo revealed that the new Nintendo Switch system will be released around the globe starting March 3, 2017, in the US at $299.99. The system comes with the main console, Joy-Con (L) and Joy-Con (R) controllers, a Joy-Con grip where two Joy-Cons attach and utilized as one controller.

There is also a set of Joy-Con wrist straps and Nintendo Switch dock which grasps the main console attaching it to a TV along with an HDMI cable and AC adapter. There will be two elegant versions that will be released: a set of gray Joy-Con and a variant with neon blue and neon red Joy-Con. These two versions will have the same price, ComingSoon reported.

Nintendo Switch is an innovation home video game system, which not only connects to a TV but also transforms it into an on-the-go handheld by using its 6.2-inch screen. With "Minecraft" getting integrated to the Nintendo Switch, players will be able to enjoy a full home- console.
