Despite having a great statistical season LeBron James is reportedly not pleased with the NBA referees. The star recently got a technical foul for voicing out his frustration with the game officials.

The four-time MVP is reportedly becoming increasingly frustrated with some non-calls following the Cavs' losing effort against the Utah Jazz 100-92. In a rare moment James got a technical foul after he shouted in frustration at referee Tyler Ford with 2:09 remaining the first quarter.

James reportedly heard Jazz head coach Quin Snyder's instructions to foul him instead of giving up an easy basket, Bleacher Report reported. In an interview, his Cav's team mate Richard Jefferson opined that James should be getting more trips to the line because of his aggressive brand of play.

"This is another night where he's going to the basket and he's only getting six [free] throws, eight free throws. For a guy that spends as much time in the paint and drives and is aggressive as he is, for him to be bottom 15 in the league in free throw attempts given that he's the best player on the planet, four-time MVP, it's [disappointing]," he said.

Despite James' frustration with the officiating, James is still averaging his usual 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game, the second highest average of his career. To further boost his game, he said that he studies film tapes in order to know how their shooters want to receive the ball.  James said that in this season, he watch watched 25 minutes of clips that feature his new teammate Kyle Korver to learn exactly how he wants to receive the ball before spotting up to shoot it, Yahoo Sports reported.

James previously said that Korver's addition to the Cavs' will strengthen the teams offensive arsenal. He said that he has every intention to give the ball to Korver when the situation is ripe for it. When that happens, he wants the right pass to come from him so that Korver will be comfortable to fire right away.
