"Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage is reportedly circling a role in "Avengers: Infinity War" according to reports.

Dinklage will likely cross over to Marvel and add another huge entry to the ensemble of the new "Avengers" installment. While not much has been revealed on which role he might be playing, sources said that Dinklage might play a "key role" in the film, Variety reported.

Shortly after the news broke out, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld said that he might play Pip the Troll, Slash Film reported. The character was prominently featured in the "Infinity War" comics so this development is not entirely unlikely.

For the uninitiated, Pip the Troll first appeared in the "Strange Tales" Vol. 2 and played a role in the 1991 "Infinity Gauntlet crossover." The character initially debuted as an antagonist to Adam Warlock but in more recent conceptions, the character is portrayed as a long-time ally and travelling companion of Warlock as the teleporter of the Infinity Watch. Warlock on the otherhand is a synthetic being created by mad scientists who call themselves "The Enclave" to become their ideal template for a new race of humans.

In one arc arc, Thanos destroyed his mind leaving his corpse for Warlock and Captain Marvel to find. Eventually, Warlock took his soul into the soul gem. In another arc, Thanos became an ally to Warlock because he wants to steal the soul gem in order to create a cosmic weapon that destroy stars.

On the other hand, others also speculate that Dinklage may play MODOK (Mental/Mobile/Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing). Earlier reports noted that "Infinity War" writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher both said that they intend to find a way to bring MODOK in the MCU.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated for release on May 4, 2018. To find out more about the probably casting watch the clip below:
