Bethesda Game Studios has just released their latest patch, the Update 1.3 for their open-world title, "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition." With the new patch, Bethesda's game improves its performance by gaining better stability and noticeable visual upgrades. The patch is currently available for PS4 and PC while Xbox One players may have to wait a little more before they get their titles updated.

Better stability, better performance and more

According to DualShockers, four major things happened with the new update. First, Bethesda made improvements on the game's performance by making it more stable in general. Slow Time effects that are not working well before were also fixed. The log-in issue in Bethesda.net is now fixed. With the added support included in the patch, the PC edition of "Skyrim Special Edition" will also have better 144Hz displays for better game visuals.

The long wait is over

Bethesda Games Studios' "Skyrim Special Edition" had its launch last year in October but it took a while before players received an update to make the popular game even better. As always Bethesda has kept to being diligent with the patches they released. The latest 1.3 update for their enhanced "Elder Scrolls V" addressed more specific problems that gamers would be thankful for.

Latest 'Skyrim Special Edition' works well so far

As it is, the newest improvements look to be working well for "Skyrim." No negative reports have been heard so far since it is a common occurrence for updates to cause additional problems to the game, one way or another. On the other hand, the patch is only available on two platforms at the moment; on PlayStation 4 and PC. Hopefully, a version of the patch should be made available for Xbox One at a later time.

According to Game Rant, Bethesda's President of Marketing and PR Pete Hines considers "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" as a great financial help to the company upon the success of its release late last year. However, Hines reveals that they will not release any enhanced version for the game anytime soon thus the presence of the update.

"Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" is available on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One platforms.
