2K Games' "Mafia 3" had a couple of updates recently that almost nobody noticed. The developer Hangar 13 was not able to announce the big updates and improvements that was provided especially for those PS4 Pro owners.

According to Gamespot, at the final month of 2016, December, the "Mafia 3" update went under the radar and nobody noticed at all. The game had a couple of improvements on its performance with some added features.

"Mafia 3" is now capable of running 1440p on the PlayStation 4 Pro using a native 4K TV. For those who are not using a 4K television will still notice some minor changes and improvements, though it will be locked at 1080p resolution.

Of course, with the said "Mafia 3" update, frame rate improvements are sure to be attending and will be stable to run at 30 FPS. Though it is an update exclusively for PS4 Pro version, this is considered to be the biggest update for the "Mafia 3" that improves its graphical performance and exhibits more realistic game textures.

Xbox One and Windows PC version are not affected by this updates and will experience the same frame rate issues that the "Mafia 3" has. Fans are expected future updates for the said platforms.

In addition to the update, Game Reactor confirmed that the latest "Mafia 3" update includes a new racing mode for the game. Alongside with this is a car customization and a handful of new in-game contents.

We may recall that the "Mafia 3" had a lot of issues a day after the official release last October 7th 2016. The game was initially locked in a very low frame rates that results in a massive complains from almost 90% who had the game.

Hangar 13 quickly released an update to fix the issue and fortunately, the game is back to its normal FPS, yet the game still experiences frame rate issues in random in-game scenarios. Since then, the game had a couple of updates and improvements until to this day.

Fans are expecting for more updates, improvements and more DLC's for Mafia III. "Mafia 3" is a great game, but has a lot of issues resulting the game to receive a 6.5 grade from Steam and several game critics.
