The latest technology can be used for a plenty of things and is being further developed so that it creates a web that connects people everywhere. The benefits of developing this technology to connect all devices and services to each other are an incredible and there's no doubt that this means that a lot of ends are visible to all and can cause many problems. The technology of sending messages can also affect many things in the device and cause many malfunctions. One such problem is being seen in most of the iPhone models while sending a text message.

Many times there has been a case where the networks have picked up a particular type of message which can interfere with the functioning of the phone. Lately, there is a text message which has been circulating in the iCloud of all the iPhone systems that use iOS 9 and above till iOS 10.2.1. According to PhoneArena, the message has an attachment along with the text and when you try to open the attachment, the entire messaging app crashes. This happens because the attachment is usually a very large file which cannot be deciphered by the software and hence, the software stops responding.

These problems are not caused because of any fault in the programming in your phone but they are a result of an input that is too heavy for the system. The messaging app in the iPhone gets disabled once the message is opened and further use of this app becomes impossible. When you clear all your windows opened on the phone, the messaging app is removed but reopening the app is of no use because all you will receive is plain white screen.

Leakite explains that a few weeks back there was also an instance when there was a troublesome message circulated in the phones which triggered the iPhone to work slowly at first and then freeze. This issue could be resolved by completely resetting the device. The recent message though, cannot be fixed by a reset and disables the affected handsets to receive or send text messages. But the new defect in the app, caused by the recent messages, cannot be fixed the same way.
