Netizens are expressing their disappointment towards SBS after playing the wrong song for the performance of TWICE at the "2016 SBS Gayo Daejun" on Dec. 26.
According to Allkpop, SBS mistakenly played G-Friend's song while TWICE was on stage for their performance. It even took them a while to realize that they have played the wrong song; however, the girl group did not bother and later gave their best shot on the "2016 SBS Gayo Daejun" stage.
Despite the good show, netizens expressed their disappointment on SBS for committing such mistake. Many of them also pointed out some errors during the year-end music program.
"SBS never fails to disappoint me. The audio and camera work were horrible too," a commenter said. On the other hand, other netizens said the collaboration performances at the annual music program were not effective.
""SBS Gayo Daejun" this year is a mess. They announced so many cool collaborations before the event, raising the hype. However, I really feel many of the collaborations were awkward and not so smooth. It's like these people weren't given enough time to practice and do rehearsals," a netizen wrote.
According to Soompi, the music program featured five collaborations. The first to perform were 10cm duo alongside Chanyeol of EXO, Jihyo of TWICE, and Rose of BLACKPINK. The five artists staged "What the Spring?" and "Sseudam Sseudam." Aside from the 10cm songs, they also performed "Monster," "TT" and "WHISTLE."
The next was a collaboration of rappers Teddy, CL, G-Dragon of BIGBANG, BewhY and Okasian who performed a set list that includes "Lifted," "One of a Kind," "Shalom," "Underwater Bank" and "One Million Won."
The hip-hop stage was followed by Yoon Jong Shin's performance with Jung Eunji of Apink, Kim Sejeong of gugudan, and Kyuhyun of Super Junior. Meanwhile, Yook Sungjae appeared on stage to perform "You Made Me Impressed with Kyuhyun.
On the other hand, Park Jin Young turned the "2016 SBS Gayo Daenjun" stage into a "Dance Stage" with his collaboration with GOT7's JB, Jinyoung, Jackson, Yugyeom, and SEVENTEEN's Woozi, Seungkwan, Dino and Vernon.
G-Friend's Yerin, Yuju, Eunha, SinB and TWICE's Mina, Momo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon also showcased their dance moves at the "2016 SBS Gayo Daejun."
Lastly, Yoo Young Jin led the "Progressive Stage" with the members of NCT and EXO as well as TRAX's Jungmo.
