Capcom has given an interesting feature for "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard," especially for its Windows and Xbox One version: a support for cross-saving. This means that players can play on one of those platforms like the Xbox One, and then continue their progress in PC.

The Japanese site Dengeki first reported the feature (via IGN), stating that "the Windows Store version can share play data with the Xbox One version." The cross-save functionality is due to the Microsoft Xbox One's "Play Anywhere" program -- a concept where players can purchase an Xbox One version of a game, as well as getting them a PC copy.

However, in spite of the cross-save feature in "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard," it still hasn't been confirmed from Capcom or Microsoft that "Resident 7" will be a "Play Anywhere" title, as the program has been meant only for Xbox exclusives.

In other news, Gamespot mentions that "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" released for the PS4 will include both the Kitchen VR demo and the full game's PlayStation VR mode - at least, for the first year.

Capcom also expect that sales for the latest title in the "Resident Evil" series would sell around 4 million copies worldwide before April 2017, which would last around a few years.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" recently had a $180 collector's edition revealed, that included an interactive Mansion Music Box model and a USB stick in the shape of a severed finger. It's available when "Resident Evil 7" releases on Jan. 24 2017.
