A new "Monster Hunter" title has been revealed through its themed Nintendo Direct that has been aired recently. It's reported to be a new version of "Monster Hunter Generations."

Just so everybody would know, Nintendo Direct is an online presentation produced by none other than Nintendo, where they inform and present the latest content or franchise from the company itself, such as information about games and consoles.

According to a translation by Gematsu, Capcom is bringing out a new game in the series called "Monster Hunter XX." This particular Nintendo Direct presentation seemed to be focusing on the Japanese market, where the "Monster Hunter" franchise seemed to thrive in, so it's still uncertain whether this new title will come out in the West or not. So far Capcom hasn't given any announcements for a western release.

Eurogamer mentions that "Monster Hunter XX" is a follow-up to the well-received "Monster Hunter X" (released as "Monster Hunter Generations" in the West) which was released in the West on July 15 this year. This new title will feature two new Hunter Styles, an all-new area for hunting and new monsters to hunt.

Expanding on these new features, the game is said to also include additional techniques for all of the weapon types, adding more abilities for Prowler mode, and a new base. One Hunter Style was revealed to be the Brave Style, where players can quickly evade attacks and damage enemies through continuous, linked attacks.

It was said that fans of the previous "Monster Hunter X" title can actually transfer their save files to "Monster Hunter XX," in spite of it being a standalone game. Those who also played "Monster Hunter Stories" can use their save files on the latest game to unlock the felyn armor, along with a voice set, that based on the character of the same name.

"Monster Hunter XX" is set for release on Japan for the 3DS on Mar. 18, 2017.
