"DOOM (2016)" has been one of the successful first person shooter recently this year. With a number of DLCs coming out, another expansion is coming out for the multiplayer called "Hell Followed," which features new maps, abilities, soldier skins, weapon, a new demon and more. Bethesda also released a trailer for that to celebrate the release.

According to Eurogamer, "Hell Followed" is the second one out of three DLC packs. First to be discussed are the additional maps in the game:

Here are the maps, with their official descriptions:

  • Argent Breach - Battle among ancient burial ruins of the Night Sentinels, where statues of heroes past overlook the machinery of a fallen society.
  • Molten - Clash in a world littered with volcanic temples and fight inside a crumbling facility dedicated to harnessing energy from the lava that envelopes the entire planet.
  • Orbital - Fight in low gravity aboard a robotic station in deep space. Surprise opponents from above, but be careful not to fall into the vastness of space below.

Along with the maps is a new weapon called the Reaper, which is a devastating organic-looking hellish weapon that fires "six rapid-fire bursts of Hell energy at [the] target." If players hold the trigger button long enough and then release, the weapon will unleash a destructive charged shot.

New Hack Modules include Armor Regen, that allows players to regenerate armor in a rapid rate if they are able to survive for more than two seconds without taking any damage; the Refreshing Kills perk let's players gain 20 HP when they kill an enemy; and Savagery allows players to perform Glory Kills quicker.

The DLC also introduces a new demon from the single player campaign, the floating cyclopean Cacodemon. With this creature, players can "roast [their] enemies by shooting ball-lightning, or devour them up close with a grabbing tongue attack."

Other perks brought in by this DLC include a new equipment item called the Threat Pulse allows players to detect nearby enemies through walls and other type of barriers and a whole bunch of armor sets, patterns, colors, and taunts.

Dualshockers stated that the DLC costs $14.99 USD independently, but players can also purchase the the Season Pass for $39.99 USD, which already includes "Hell Followed," the previous DLC "Unto The Evil," and the future and last DLC pack upon release.
