In the midst of overwhelming respond from fans for their newest release "TT," TWICE candidly shared their producer, Park Jin Young, is supporting another Kpop girl group.

During a showcase event on Monday, TWICE members revealed Park recently produced a song for I.O.I. Soompi noted I.O.I's newest track titled "Very Very Very" was produced by the TWICE producer.

However, TWICE members added the matter is not a big deal to them. "Park Jin Young doesn't just produce for us, he writes songs for other groups as well. We saw Park Jin Young supporting I.O.I as a good thing. We were overjoyed in just knowing that Somi got 1st place," Nayeon said.

TWICE's Sana also said, "When I.O.I's "Very Very Very" came out, we started following the dance without realizing it. It's fun to watch them," while Mina added they are not sad that Park is supporting another girl group since the producer also takes care of them.

Aside from that, TWICE also denied any competition with I.O.I, adding that they are striving to improve in their craft. "Somi, who practiced with us, is getting 1st place as a part of IOI, so even we feel honored. Instead of competing, it is an opportunity to grow and learn. We will work hard," Nayeon said as per Allkpop.

The statement was also supported by Chaeyoung who revealed I.O.I's Somi personally reached out to express how she likes TWICE's new song. "After our music release, Somi called us and said that the song is really good and that she likes it," Chaeyoung said.

I.O.I dropped "Very Very Very" last Oct. 17, while TWICE released "TT" on Oct. 24.
