TWICE is finally back with their Halloween-inspired music video for "TT," a title track of their newest mini album "TWICEcoaster: Lane 1."
"TT" MV was released at midnight of Oct. 24, and since then, TWICE's newest single has made it to several real-time music charts, Soompi noted. Reports suggested TWICE's "TT" topped music charts like Melon, olleh, Bugs, Naver and a lot more.
"TT" was written by Sam Lewis, composed by Black Eyed Pilseung, while Rado took care of the arrangement. The Halloween-inspired MV featured TWICE members in their cute choreography.
While many fans are elated for the comeback of TWICE with their newest track, others are wondering whether "TT" will surpass the success of "Cheer Up." Some fans also admitted they were not impressed of the new track, however, many netizens also expressed their appreciation of the catchy "TT" MV.
"The MV is just beautiful and amazing, and the girl were gorgeous... But the song, honestly, I couldn't follow along. It sounded messy to me and I didn't like their vocals they were all over the place," a commenter posted.
Despite mixed response from the fans, TWICE's "TT" immediately surpassed the 3 million mark on YouTube, thirteen hours after the MV was uploaded. A few days before the newest track was released, the girl group uploaded a teaser that raised the excitement of their fans.
According to Allkpop, the "TT" teaser MV has been viewed almost 2 million times on YouTube and Naver within two days. The nine-member girl is best known for their song "Cheer Up" under their second EP titled "Page Two."
Reports suggested that "Page Two" sold over 150,000 copies within four months. Meanwhile, TWICE began their promotion for "TWICEcoaster: Lane 1" last Oct. 10.
