‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ news: First teaser trailer to arrive late 2016; actors John Turturro and John Goodman returning to the cast

With the fifth and possibly the last film in the series, Michael Bay's "Transformers: The Last Knight" is inching closer to its final stages. The film production may have just finishing its British chapter, but the teaser for the movie will be delayed later this year.

According to IGN, it was revealed through a Facebook Live post that director Michael Bay that the first teaser trailer for the movie will be released on either November or December.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" also involves the return of some cast members from the previous films like John Turturro (who played the eccentric Agent Seymour Simmons) and John Goodman (who voiced the Hound in "Transformers: Age of Extinction").  Returning cast members include Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and Stanley Tucci; while the latest movie introduces Anthony Hopkins, Jerrod Carmichael, Laura Haddock, and Isabela Moner.

The Autobots will be having Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) returning, along with Bumblebee and a few new characters in the roster like the classic Hotrod from the animated series and the toy line. The Decepticons will be returning as well with Megatron as the leader once again and survivor from the "Revenge of the Fallen" film Barricade along with newcomer Onslaught.

In other news, Michael Bay has announced filming in the UK for the Nazi sequences at Blenheim Hall, in which earlier controversy surrounded from. In a report from Yahoo UK, the movie is said to even go further back in time during the Medieval Ages. This may mean that the film may have some sequences involving historical and mythical figures like King Arthur.

The director also mentioned that the film has a few days left for shooting and has set his eyes on Namibia, Africa for the final stages.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
