South Korean singer, music producer and actor Jinyoung of the boy group B1A4was revealed to be having another music project! This time, the K-pop star will be taking part in girl group I.O.I’s upcoming mini-album.
According to the talent management agency YMC Entertainment, Jinyoung will be producing one single track for the girl band, All Kpop reported. In fact, the girls have already finished recording the song piece composed by the artist.
Joining Jinyoung in making the album are record producers Brand New Music’s Rhymer and JYP Entertainment head J.Y. Park. In a report by Soompi, Brand New Music’s Rhymer will be producing two songs for the I.O.I. while Park will be the one responsible for the title track.
Recently, the star has also produced a song for OST track for the hit TV drama series “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” wherein he is one of the cast members portraying the character of a scholar named Kim Yoon Sung. Joining him on the show are actors Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, and Chae Soo Bin.
“Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” is based on the book by the same title and is directed by Kim Sung Yoon and Baek Sang Hoon. It is aired on KBS every Monday and Tuesday.
Jinyoung started his entertainment career after joining B1A4 in 2011. Aside from performing and writing songs for the band as well as other artists, he also appeared in drama series including “Warm and Cozy” and “Love Detective Sherlock K.”
