There are speculations that Marvel's TV heroes "The Defenders" from Netflix could appear in "Avengers: Infinity War." The plot details of the upcoming movie are rumored to be revealed.

According to Digital Spy, the Russo brothers said in an interview that "Avengers: Infinity War" is an epic crossover event film. They have fuelled prior speculation that the upcoming movie could become what every Marvel fan wants it to be. It seems that they are apparently not completely shutting down the possibility of these worlds merging.

The characters of Daredevil and Jessica Jones from "The Defenders" are mentioned to make appearances in "Avengers: Infinity War." Anthony Russo said that they will not provide specific details on what is going to happen as they want the fans surprised. Joe Russo joked that they have narrowed down the Marvel superheroes to 66.

The alleged plot of "Avengers: Infinity War" indicates that the upcoming movie will begin with the story arc seen in the popular comic book crossover "Infinity Gauntlet" published in 1990, Comicbook reported. The comic book depicts the events occurring after Thanos gets all the powerful Infinity Gems. Then, "Infinity Gauntlet" came out after two years later. It has its own six-issue series showing Adam Warlock. Warlock took control over the artifact and faced down an old foe named Magnus.

The Russo brothers are in the middle of filming the scenes for "Avengers: Infinity War" with Josh Brolin playing the villain Thanos. Meanwhile, "The Defenders" will begin filming at the end of this year. It is the coming together of four separate Marvel superheroes shows on Netflix, with "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage" joining "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones."

"Avengers: Infinity War" is set to be released in the UK on April 27, 2018, and on May 4, 2018 in the U.S. An untitled sequel will then hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
