Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Edge version is barely a year from its release but everyone in the tech world is already anticipating the crucial updates for S8 and S8 Edge. While Samsung is currently dealing with their Note 7 battery issues, the rumor mill of the upcoming upgrade should be a welcome for the tech giant as they up the ante for their flagship mobile device.

The Korean tech giant is gearing up for their next version of mobile phone and it seems they will follow the footsteps of Apple's iPhone 7. According to PC Advisor UK, Samsung is interested in pushing for wireless headphones with the use of a proprietary port. Apple will undoubtedly keep their wireless technology but Samsung is opting to license their wireless technology to other manufacturers.

But the biggest news about Samsung's upcoming iteration is not only on its audio port. Samsung is also getting rid of flat screen version for their upcoming mobile device. Instead of flat screen mobile phone; the display on upcoming Galaxy S series will feature curved screens.

This type of screen will push the display capabilities of the mobile phone and the Edge version could produce wider views with improved display. The curved form will be the standard version for upcoming Galaxy S mobile phone.

Samsung is not only working upgrading their Galaxy S series with impressive changes in hardware. They are also gearing up in releasing the upgraded version of Gear 360, according to Sammobile. The gadget companion for Samsung devices works exactly as its name: it is a device that could provide 360-degree camera feed complete with audio. The upcoming version is also expected to work with Apple devices through the iOS version of Gear 360 Manager application.

Samsung might be playing catch-up with Apple as it is also working on a wireless technology for earphones. But the tech giant behind some of the best mobile phones in the world is also pushing the boundaries on its screen and they are also gearing for wider support for their revolutionary Gear 360 camera. The new Galaxy S series is expected to be announced February or March 2017.
