"X-Files" star Gillian Anderson, "The Sixth Sense" actress Toni Collette, "The Wolf of Wall Street" actress Joanna Lumley, and "To Rome With Love" actor Riccardo Scamarcio join "King Arthur" star Clive Owen in the cast of the romantic thriller "Andorra." Veteran Australian director Fred Schepisi is on board to helm the upcoming film.

According to Variety, the previously-set Owen will play as a bookseller Alexander Fox in the "Andorra" movie. Anderson plays Miss Quay, Lumley as her mother Mrs. Quay, Collette as the Australian Mrs. Dent, and Scamarcio as the local lieutenant Afgroni.

The story of "Andorra" movie follows an American bookseller who leaves the U.S., as Deadline reported. He wants to begin a new life abroad after a personal tragedy. He settles in the tiny country of Andorra as an idyllic escape to reinvent himself. He meets Mrs. Dent who has a large dog and a volatile secret. Then, he encounters Mrs. Quayan who is the kayaking matriarch of an Andorran dynasty and seems to remember Fox from long ago. He finds comfort in the company of her daughter Miss Quay.

In the "Andorra" movie, the mystery of Fox's origin deepens. The local lieutenant becomes convinced that Fox is linked to a woman's dead body floating in the harbor after Fox's arrival. Fox finds himself in a crisis of conscience and identity in a foreign country from which he might not be able to escape.

"Andorra" movie is based on Peter Cameron's novel of the same name. It was originally published in 1997 and then got re-issued in 2009. Cameron and producer Jamie Bialkower adapted the novel for the screen. Paris-based Celluloid Dreams will handle international rights sales. David Nichols from Cineroma is the Italian production partner.

The production of "Andorra" movie is scheduled to start filming in Italy next April with more cast to be added later on to shape the exotic mystery. Post production will follow in Australia.
