With Season 10 of "X-Files" ending in an epic cliffhanger, fans speculate on the fate of Dana Scully in the next possible season. Fans had lots of questions in a recent panel regarding that matter.

Season 10 was considered a revival in the series after the movie "The X-Files: I Want to Believe" back in 2008 was considered a disappointment in box offices to  Mulder and Scully fans. Although Season 10 only had six episodes, the series revival had already exceeded expectations. Screen Rant reported that Fox made an estimate of 50 million viewers worldwide watching the two-night premiere of Season 10.

According to FanSided, questions were asked if the series will push forward by having a succeeding season in the makes. Entertaining questions of the fans, Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) and David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) neither gave any straight answers.

For the time being, there has not been any confirmation on the renewal. But it was speculated, however, that both actors are playing coy on the whole thing during the panel. Both are also preoccupied with their own respective projects like Anderson's cast to play Media in the upcoming TV series on Starz, "American Gods."

Another interesting moment in the panel was when fans asked the two actors if their characters will eventually get married in the show. Anderson gave a "no," saying that the characters may getting into many things, but marriage is not one of them. She added that fans would not also want that.

"The X-Files" season 10 began airing on Jan. 24, 2016, consisting of six episodes, and concluded on Feb. 22, 2016. The show has been running for a long time for 10 seasons since its first release on Sept. 10, 1993.
