KPop star Hyuna has recently opened up about her comeback with the new sub-unit Triple H in the trio’s recent appearance on the May 3 installment of “MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon”.
The former Wondergirls and 4minute member revealed that the decision to return to the music stage with Triple H is a mutual decision between her and Cube Entertainment. She also added that she liked the idea of being with her fellow group members that is why she chose to be with them.
“It was half my choice and half the company’s choice. I recently celebrated my 10th debut anniversary and my company suggested that I try something new. I liked the idea and that’s why I chose to make a comeback through Triple H,” the 24-year-old star stated as quoted by Soompi.
Aside from talking about her comeback, the singer also shared how she spare Pentagon’s Hui and E’Dawn from the harsh bashing on the internet. According to Hyuna: “I was afraid that if they checked the comments and saw something negative, they would not be able to show everything they have to offer. Our song is really fun and I didn’t want anything to bring them down before performing”.
Meanwhile, Triple H has recently released the music video for their debut single titled “365 FRESH”. Released on the official YouTube page of Cube Entertainment, the video presents a “You Only Live Once” theme wherein the three characters, in the person of Hyuna, Hui, and E’Dawn, seemed to be running away from their problems and chose to have fun and party instead. It concluded with the three stars jumping from the rooftop of the building before getting caught by the police.
However, it appears that not all the viewers were in favor of the video’s content, All KPop reports. In fact, some netizens complained that it promotes rebellion, indecency, and suicide.
“365 FRESH” is one of the featured tracks of Triple H’s debut album “199X”. Released on May 1, the record also includes songs such as “Girl Girl Girl”, “Sunflower”, and “What’s Going On”.
