NBA Trade Rumors: The biggest sellers at trade deadline are possibly Nuggets, Hawks

Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks will become two biggest sellers before the before the trade deadline on Feb. 23 next week. In an effort to rebuild the team they will send players away.

Denver Nuggets has traded its center Jusuf Nurkic in exchange with Portland Trail Blazers’ center Mason Plumlee as reported by Denver Post. The Nuggets is also rumored to send away small forward Danilo Gallinari before his contract expires by the end of this season.

Plumlee will provide an important piece of puzzle in Denver and provide depth in the front court. His unique style of play will help head coach Michael Malone to maintain the team’s offense and ball movement when he put Nikola Jokic in bench.

The 6’11” center Plumlee is a center with a rare capability. He is able to pass the ball and make play and posting average 3.4 assists per game this season. He will be able to distribute the ball in a small ball play and keep the pace of the Denver Nuggets offense when Jokic is off the court.

Meanwhile Atlanta Hawks will be the team that has many players which the team management wants to trade. After sending away Kyle Korver to Cleveland, Hawks still consider the option to send away some veterans to rejuvenate its squad according to Bleacher Report.

However, the Hawks has pulled forward Paul Millsap from the trade market. Head coach Mike Budenholzer has officially mentioned the 6’8” power forward will not be traded this season.

Atlanta Hawks still has Thabo Sefolosha available for other teams to pitch. Hawks will want to trade the 6’7” wing player with a point guard or a future first-round draft pick.

The Hawks wants to keep its dominance in the Eastern Conference and rejuvenate the team. For that reason, it sends away Korver to Cavaliers for Mike Dunleavy Jr., Mo Williams and the Cavaliers future first-round pick
