Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers are two teams which are interested to bring in Danilo Gallinari from Denver Nuggets. The high scoring small forward is a very valuable wing man.

According to ESPN, after the Nuggets finally trade center Jusuf Nurkic the next player on the trading block will be Gallinari. It is reported that two teams are interested to the 6’10” small forward, they are Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers

Previously the Nuggets swapped their center Nurkic and their 2017 first round draft pick to Trail Blazers, in exchange for the versatile center Mason Plumlee. There is a speculation that Nuggets wanted to trade him before the trade deadline this February rather than waiting for his contract to expire by the end of the season. Gallinari will be a valuable wing man with his scoring ability.

Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors are closely monitoring his availability in the trade market. The two teams also provided an interesting options for the Nuggets trade of Gallinari, according to SB Nation.

The Clippers can deliver a good package to Denver, consist of Austin Rivers, Brice Johnson and Alan Anderson for Gallinari. The three of them have evolved into good players, particularly Rivers who is now coached by his father Doc Rivers in LA. Moving to Denver will be a great opportunity for him to shine brighter, away from the shadow of his father.

While Johnson is a young power forward with a good defensive trait and rebounding capabilities. The Nuggets will need him to toughen their low-post defense. While Alan Anderson will be a replacement for Gallinari in the small forward position, despite his scoring capability is below Gallinari.

Other interesting option is Toronto Raptors, which can offer small forward Terrence Ross and point guard Cory Joseph in exchange for Gallinari. However, up to now there is no decision taken by the Nuggets to trade Gallinari.
