"The Elder Scrolls" series has been around 20 years already, giving RPG fans the awesome fantasy time of their lives. With the successes of "Morrowind," "Oblivion" and "Skyrim," fans are surely looking forward to the highly anticipated "The Elder Scrolls 6," in which release dates and further details of the game still remain elusive. There have been talks, however, of a possible release date set next year.

According to Metro, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) might be a good chance to reveal the possibility of the next big title of "The Elder Scrolls." Developer Bethesda Game Studios is reported to host its own press conference during said event.

The company's vice president Pete Hines mentioned that the conference will be packed with announcements of big projects. This would be probably pertaining to the sixth installment of "The Elder Scrolls" series.

However, Hines further mentioned that the company still has some other plans in queue for the time being before working on the highly anticipated "The Elder Scrolls 6," Express reported. Two major projects are Bethesda's top priorities, but it still doesn't mean that fans would lose hope in any possible announcement on the game's status.

Big titles like "The Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout" series do require a huge amount of time and effort during development. Bethesda's latest title "Fallout 4" was able a good example of that, with leaks of it being released in a short time before its actual release.

In other news, the Bethesda's vice president also gave news on the "Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition," giving it an update to run on 4k on the PS4 Pro.

Hines also mentioned that the remastered edition of "Skyrim" will be released later this year on Oct. 28. The game will feature new and improved visuals and all the DLC's including Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. It is slated for release for the Xbox One, PS4 and the PC.
